Let’s just start by saying that whole, fresh, naturally gluten-free foods are the best way to go. In the future I will link to GF recipe blogs, dietician advice, etc. but for now, as mentioned I am just starting out on this web community, I will share the specific products that are my go to’s and some of the recipes we feature on the Nutritious and Delicious segments featured on TV Cogeco.
Zehr’s Dietician Chantal Brazeau & The Radiant Alchemist Sue Rice Make Nachos as seen on Nutritious and Delicious (as seen on TV Cogeco Windsor, Ontario Canada)
For my gluten free followers, this recipe is a very easy one to make GF as the base, Beanitos, are gluten free. Just make sure to double check your greek yogurt and salsa and choose to grate your own cheese as some pre-shredded cheeses can contain gluten. I know – frustrating but one thing is for sure, celiacs are not lazy as we are use to being diligent against the evil gluten. Plus you can gourmet up this nacho recipe with grating a few different cheeses.
If you are in Canada, you can connect with your local Zehr’s/Loblaw’s/Superstore and book an appointment with the in-store Dietician. These helpful professionals can assist you in navigating the store to find all the gluten free, healthy goodness you will need to practice a nutritious gluten free lifestyle.
And yes, the microwave dance DOES make the nachos turn out better and prove that my parents investment in Mrs. Bondy’s School of Dance paid off 😉
